Applications are invited for the following post: Knowledge Transfer Case Manager (Arise Project) (Fixed-Term Wholetime) (Reference: 360a/2024) The ideal candidate under the general supervision of TU Dublins Head of Innovation & Knowledge Transfer, will elicit and evaluate TU Dublin invention disclosures, and develop and execute commercialization strategies to transfer the technologies to spin-outs, SMEs and multinationals.
While this position is being funded through the ARISE project, the role will be expected to deliver on the responsibilities listed below for all external projects under the remit of Research & Innovation.
Hours of Work: A 35-hour working week is in operation.
This can be reviewed by collective agreement, with the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.
Having regard to the nature of the work, attendance outside these hours may be required from time-to-time.
Location:The post will be based at the TU Dublin Grangegorman Campus.
Regular attendance at other sites will be required.
Salary:The successful candidate will be appointed at point (01) of the Assistant Principal Officer Salary Scale i.e.
€85,645 gross per annum.
Under normal circumstances, new entrants to the Public Sector will commence on point 1 of the salary scale.
Remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy.
Incremental credit may apply in line with university policy.T Appointments will be made at the appropriate point on the appropriate scale.
