Main Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and develop a busy communications teamCoordinating, cultivating, devising and managing events and launchesProactively lead all internal and external stakeholders, including members of the mediaResponsible for all national communications projects, events and campaignsBuild and maintain close relationships and ensure stakeholder satisfaction by understanding their needs, preferences, and concernsDevelopment and implementation of strategic communications and policies in conjunction with head of departmentWorking closely with internal teams and departments to ensure alignment in messaging and brand to achieve their goalsDriving growth of communications across the organizationLeading out planning and execution of major events including in-house and external events, launches and conferencesResponsible for leading out on all internal written and verbal online communications including presentations and webinars to large groupsStrategic vision to provide standardized communications across the whole organizationResponsible for the direction and opportunities in traditional and digital mediaActively establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, the CEO office and senior management.Identify potential media and social media opportunitiesBuild strong internal relationships to ensure smooth collaboration and buy-in for key internal initiatives, including the CEO office and senior managementResponsible for budget planning and managementCultivate fruitful relationships with members of the mediaAbility to analyze trends and media and social insights to identify opportunitiesCarry out any other duties that may be assigned from time to timePERSON SPECIFICATION: Knowledge/Experience: At least 6 years of experience in senior strategic communications roles or public relationsAbility to devise, coordinate, and manage national launches and eventsExcellent analytical skills and can analyse data and market trends to identify business opportunities and make informed decisions.Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, demonstrate empathy and manage conflicts effectively.Display a flexible working approach and solution-focused attitudesSkills/Competencies: Proven experience of negotiating with senior stakeholders both internal and external including senior management, CEO office and Board of DirectorsExperience in contributing communications expertise to the development of wider organizational strategies, policies and plansProven ability to present to large audiences in a fluent and engaging mannerFlexibility in building relationshipsPro-active approach in working with stakeholdersProven experience in devising, leading and managing national events, campaigns and launchesExperience working well within a teamProblem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAptitude for fostering positive relationshipsTeamwork and leadership skillsOther Requirements: Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and negotiation skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proven experience in proactively working with stakeholders.
