Responsibilities:
1. Setting out of all works on site - competent in the use of GPS equipment.
2. Regularly checking and surveying ongoing works.
3. Liaising with Estimator to provide measures for valuations and inform of any additional works which may arise.
4. Review latest issue construction drawings and documents for discrepancies and errors.
5. Highlight any technical problems & provide information for RFIs and Queries to PM.
6. Ensure construction operations are carried out in accordance with the contract health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
7. Implement company health, safety, environmental, and quality policies in conjunction with the Safety Officer & PM.
8. Ensure all site operatives have clear, accurate, and appropriate information to carry out their duties.
9. Ensure allocation sheets are completed daily.
10. Carry out quality inspections in accordance with company policy and keep records of the same.
11. Supervision of Sub-contractors and monitor their performance.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management.
2. Registered / Member of a professional body - desirable.
3. Civil works experience an advantage.
4. Experience with pipelines.
5. Excellent IT skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft suite and AutoCad.
6. Good planning and organisation skills.
Package: €550-70K per annum, negotiable based on experience.
