Job Description
The vacancy has become available due to the previous employee moving internally within the company. As a B2B professional, you will have support from another team member. The finance function is currently being assisted by the financial controller while we search for their replacement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Billing and Invoicing: Generate and issue timely invoices to clients via email or post, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contract terms.
* Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to verify that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
* Credit Management: Help reduce debtors' days by contacting customers via phone and email to manage overdue accounts and failed payments, escalating necessary cases.
* Payment Application: Accurately apply payment receipts (EFT, Card, Cash, Cheque, DD) to customer accounts, resolving any discrepancies that arise.

* Account Creation: Create new customer accounts and conduct credit checks in line with Company Policy.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the AR function, leveraging automation tools where possible.
Your Experience:
We are looking for candidates with experience in a credit control position for 2-3 years who wish to move into an accounts role or newly qualified accounts technicians with a finance administrator or credit background. You should be comfortable communicating through various channels and possess strong organizational skills with an emphasis on process improvements.
