As a Sales Executive on a permanent basis, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with merchant sales, building contractors, builders, sub-contractors, and wholesalers to elevate sales, profits, and market standing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cultivate and strengthen relationships with customers to enhance sales and competitive position.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, respond to customer inquiries, and seize market prospects.
* Support existing clientele by securing orders, forging new connections, and scheduling regular client visits.
* Regularly visit construction sites and merchant establishments to strengthen industry ties.
* Effectively oversee orders based on specifications, referencing price lists and product literature.
* Strive towards specific sales goals and key performance indicators to ensure both individual and team accomplishments.
* Keep abreast of competition by gathering up-to-date market data on pricing, products, and emerging trends.
* Stay current with industry dynamics and product knowledge through publications, networks, professional associations, and pertinent training.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within the construction or engineering sectors.
* Proficiency in acquiring product knowledge.
* Excellent communication abilities, capable of engaging and educating clients while effectively promoting product upgrades.
* A valid driver's license is essential for regular travel within the Munster and Connaught regions.
