Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Positive Behaviour Support
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist in Positive Behaviour Support to deliver care in line with the five core concepts of the role set out in the framework for the establishment of clinical nurse specialist posts.
The CNS will provide a holistic person-centred approach to the overall care needs of the person with an intellectual disability who exhibits behaviours of concern. The overarching purpose of the role is to improve the person's quality of life and safety.

This enables the service user to meet personal outcomes and lead a more fulfilling life through choice, increased opportunity, and social integration into the community.
Requirements:
* Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc: Be registered in the Intellectual Disabilities division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Register or be entitled to be so registered.
* Have a minimum of 5 years post-registration full-time experience or an aggregate of 5 years full-time experience in the division of the register in which the application is being made.
* Have successfully completed a post-registration programme of study as certified by the education provider.
* Be required to demonstrate continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the specialist area.
The successful candidate may be expected to engage with further studies if required to support service delivery in accordance with their role.
They must also have annual registration, good character, and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
