Supply Chain Manager - Hardware Wholesaler
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join a leading company within the hardware industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the business while working closely with the Managing Director and managing a team of two replenishment planners.
Please note this role is based on site in North Dublin. Hybrid or remote working is not an option. You must currently hold a valid working visa to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain planning and inventory process, ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient replenishment strategies.
* Manage the demand and S&OP planning process.
* Oversee and develop a team of two replenishment planners, driving performance and continuous improvement.
* Work closely with key stakeholders to monitor inventory turnover, demand planning, and stock forecasting.
* Implement and manage the introduction of a new ERP system to replace the current Excel-based planning and purchasing system, improving efficiency and accuracy across the business.
* Provide strategic guidance on inventory management, cost control, and supplier relationships.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory planning with broader business objectives.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in supply chain management, ideally within the retail or hardware industry.
* 3-5 years of people management experience is essential, with a proven ability to develop teams.
* Strong background in implementing or upgrading ERP systems within a business environment.
* Excellent analytical skills, with a strong focus on improving processes and driving efficiencies.
* Retail sector experience is highly desirable.
