Senior Finance Manager, Payroll Strategy

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the strategic direction of payroll services for 6,000+ Irish based employees through oversight of weekly and monthly payroll, project implementation, change management and technical accounting skills to ensure continued efficiency of payroll and preparedness for a rapidly growing company into the future.
* Project manage the implementation of solutions proposed and liaise with cross-functional teams including IT, HR and Operations in project delivery.
* Hone accounting, internal controls, SOX compliance and global mobility and payroll knowledge in a true managerial job in a company where you can progress onto global projects and to other onsite teams across Finance Operations, FP&A, Tax and Financial Reporting once you establish your personal brand.
Job Outcomes:
* Lead, motivate, develop & support a talented team of 4 highly experienced staff.
* Feed into numerous planning and forecasting activities such as R&D tax credit claims and IDA grants and ensure compensation and benefits information is accounted for correctly on the P&L and Balance Sheet.
* Identify accounting & reporting risks and challenges such as international cross charges or the accounting implications of processing share options through payroll which will continue to challenge and develop your accounting skills.

Existing Skills:
* A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with proven ability to advise the leadership teams of global organisations on strategic & operational decisions.
* Some element of payroll accounting or payroll management exposure in industry, or perhaps have a practice background with management skills in either tax, audit, employment tax or global mobility and now want to challenge yourself in a multinational environment.
