Role/ Department
This role sits in the newly formed Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team within Northern Trust's Technology function (1st Line of Defense).
The focus is on measuring, analyzing, overseeing, and reporting cybersecurity risks and controls as a Cyber Risk Associate.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work with global Cyber Risk colleagues to support production, reporting, and improvement of cyber risk metrics, including monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
2. Support execution of cyber risk assessments and reporting processes.
3. Support execution of cyber maturity assessments and reporting processes.
4. Perform cyber risk thematic analysis.
Skills/ Qualifications
* Experience in risk management and reporting.
* Knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks and risk management methodologies.
* Innovative thinking and adaptability to change.
* Organizational and communication skills for coordinating risk-related activities with various stakeholders.
* A strong understanding of data analytics and related tools, including Power BI.
* Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA.
