Our client is seeking an experienced senior LEED Consultant to join their Dublin-based sustainability consulting practice.
As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will primarily be responsible for managing the LEED certification process on multiple projects.
1. Manage a portfolio of projects to ensure these are delivered on time, on budget and to client satisfaction.
2. Maintain and enhance client relationships across a portfolio of clients.
3. Manage a team of 3 to 5 consultants delivering building certifications and carbon assessments.
4. Oversee and engage in mentorship of junior members of staff to build positive and engaging team culture.
5. Manage the business development process, writing proposals, executing agreements.
6. Oversee the contractual and financial status of project portfolio in coordination with senior management.
7. Fulfil the primary role of Sustainability (LEED/BREEAM/WELL/HPI) Consultant on projects.
8. Lead and facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings, prepare meeting agendas and notes.
9. Develop and maintain an updated knowledge base about the industry best-practice in sustainability.
10. Explore ongoing business opportunities to expand our service offerings.
11. Embrace and improve upon our existing green and healthy workplace.
Requirements
1. Degree level qualification in the built environment with proven 5+ performance in Sustainability.
2. 2+ years’ experience working at senior level.
3. Active Accreditation (LEED AP with Specialty/ BREEAM Assessor / WELL AP / HPI Assessor).
4. Basic technical knowledge across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural, ecology) is required.
5. Ability to identify, manage and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
6. Public speaking skills (industry conferences, meetings with internal global teams).
7. Familiarity with energy and environmental performance: conceptual energy modelling, daylight analysis, energy audits, renewable energy and rainwater harvesting systems, etc.
8. Experience with management of team, resources, and time.
