The Role
Audit Services offers an exceptional opportunity for you to showcase and expand your audit and control knowledge in identifying and mitigating risk as the Associate Director responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight of the Asset Servicing audit team.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement the target operating model in line with Audit Service Group objectives and methodologies.
* Foster an environment where growth and opportunity for career advancement are present.
* Ensure Audit Services operations are effective and well controlled.
* Manage a number of Direct Reports.
* Evaluate work paper quality, thoroughness, accuracy, and timeliness.
* Recommend or develop operational efficiencies.
* Deliver presentations to assist with understanding root causes of control gaps, industry trends, peer practices, etc.
* BUILD AND MAINTAIN VITAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE BUSINESS, OPERATIONAL, AND CORPORATE TEAMS.
Requirements
* Proven assurance experience gained within internal audit, external audit, monitoring or testing functions in a financial institution, regulator, or consulting environment.
* Experience in data analytics is advantageous.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a global audit team across multiple time zones and jurisdictions.
* Proven communication skills, both written and oral.
* Experience with audit workpaper applications is advantageous.
* Adaptability and sound business judgment skills to resolve routine and complex issues.
* Flexibility, multi-tasking, creative thinking, and good business judgment skills are required to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
