The award-winning Old Lodge Gastro Pub at The Shannon Springs Hotel is now recruiting experienced waiting staff.
Bartender Roles and Responsibilities:
1. To operate the F&B service to the agreed standard operating procedures (SOPs) for F&B in the hotel.
2. To ensure the bar is set up and ready to open as per the agreed and advertised times and maintained on an ongoing basis.
3. To maintain the Food & Beverage areas in a clean and tidy condition.
4. Responsible for maintaining a comfortable atmosphere in the restaurant by controlling and monitoring heating, lighting, and music/TVs.
5. To provide an efficient and friendly service to guests at all times.
6. To portray a positive attitude to both customers and employees at all times.
7. Up-sell and maximize sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
8. Completing daily SOPs checklists ensuring high standards of staff training are maintained at all times.
9. Completing daily and weekly cleaning checklists ensuring high standards of hygiene at all times.
Bartender Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
2. Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
3. Tills and operating systems experience would be preferable.
4. Flexible and available to work a variety of shifts including midweek and weekends.
5. A good team player.
6. Hardworking and dedicated to their role.
