Responsibilities :
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Implement, monitor, and enforce safety measures and protocols to mitigate on-site risks.
Manage safety documentation, including incident reports, safety plans, and compliance records.
Promote a safety culture across the site through training sessions, workshops, and daily briefings.
Collaborate with project managers and teams to identify potential hazards and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Stay informed of industry best practices and regulatory changes to continuously improve EHS practices.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Safety Officer in a commercial construction setting (experience with Hammertech is beneficial, but not essential).Solid experience in safety practices and regulations specific to commercial construction projects (Pharma experience is not necessary).Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for managing documentation and reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing site personnel at all levels.
Proficiency in EHS management software and reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent EHS qualifications.
Experience with ISO standards related to environmental management and safety.
A background in delivering training programs focused on safety and environmental awareness.
