Vocational Training Instructor
Job Purpose:
The Vocational Training Instructor is responsible for training and developing Learners in accordance with agreed local training programme specifications, as well as the day-to-day running and maintenance of all aspects of the training programmes.
Learners with additional support needs are assisted in exploring their future career and educational direction, and in making realistic vocational choices with a view to progressing to further education/employment.
Minimum Education & Experience Required:
Third level qualification, preferably within the Education/Training or Social Sciences sector.
A relevant pedagogical/training qualification - Train the Trainer QQI Level 6 as a minimum.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide systematic training according to specified curricula, with responsibility for instructing a number of modules for QQI Level 4 certification.
* Facilitate participants in developing knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to secure progression outcomes.
* Meet key performance indicators in relation to learner placement and progression and achievement of certification targets.
Additional Requirements:
As part of our recruitment process, candidates may be required to provide a Police certificate from countries they have resided prior to coming to Ireland.
