We are seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager to lead our operations at a prestigious 4-star hotel in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-known establishment and take charge of the effective management of all Food and Beverage outlets, as well as substantial Events and Wedding business.
Job Requirements
1. A proven track record in managing high-pressure Food and Beverage operations to exceptional standards.
2. Candidates with experience in managing Conferences, Weddings, and special Events will be highly regarded.
3. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire Hotel F&B / M&E Operation and team performance.
4. Effective leadership and proven team management and development abilities are essential.
5. A reliable, committed, motivated, and professional individual with a strong work ethic is required.
6. Preferably 3+ years of Operations Management or F&B Director experience in a prominent 4/5-star Hotel in Ireland.
7. A valid work permit is not available for this role; full legal status to work in Ireland is required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage daily operations and coordinate all areas of the hotel, including F&B, Rooms, M&E, etc.
2. Lead and guide the team, continually refining procedures and enhancing service levels.
3. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the property.
4. Ensure Management adheres to all shift and opening/closing procedures.
5. Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and staff.
