Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Warehouse Operator to join their team in Inverin, Galway.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the pharmaceutical supply chain by handling, storing, and managing pharmaceutical products in compliance with industry regulations. The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring product integrity, and supporting other warehouse activities.
Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for the following:
* Material Handling: Safely and efficiently handle pharmaceutical products, including receiving, inspecting, and storing goods in the warehouse.
* Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counting, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring proper documentation.
* Quality Assurance: Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
* Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare pharmaceutical products for outbound shipment according to customer orders and shipping requirements.
* Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
* Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to create a secure working environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, production, and quality control, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
Qualifications
* Leaving Certificate/ additional education or certification in warehouse operations is a plus.
* Proven experience as a Warehouse Operator, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry is desirable but not mandatory.
* Strong computer skills for inventory management and documentation.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
