Vital Role: Junior QA Manager
We're seeking a self-driven Junior QA Manager to take on a crucial role in our software development quality assurance process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Guide, mentor, and support QA team members.
* Oversee daily activities of the QA team to ensure alignment with project goals.
* Assist in onboarding new QA team members and conduct training sessions.
* Serve as liaison between QA team and cross-functional Scrum teams.
* Prioritize, assign, and complete QA tasks within sprint timelines.
* Participate in Scrum ceremonies to represent QA activities.
* Develop, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
* Perform hands-on manual or automated testing.
* IDentify testing gaps and ensure complete coverage of requirements.
* Monitor and manage defect lifecycle.
* Generate and share testing progress, quality metrics, and defect reports.
* Implement and enforce quality assurance processes.
* IDentify areas for improvement in testing processes.
Basic Requirements:
* Team leadership experience in QA environment.
* Strong hands-on testing experience (manual or automated).
* Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
* Proficiency with testing tools like JIRA, TestRail, Selenium.
* Familiarity with automation frameworks and scripting languages.
* Able to manage, motivate, and mentor QA team members.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Proven ability to resolve conflicts and facilitate collaboration.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Comfortable presenting quality metrics and updates to stakeholders.
* Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
* Experience improving QA workflows.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
