We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Consultant to join our team and play a key role in delivering SAP-driven financial solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO), with a strong understanding of finance principles, business processes, and integration with other SAP modules.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing SAP solutions, leading functional teams, and ensuring seamless project execution. You will work closely with clients, gathering requirements, developing process models, performing functionality testing, and supporting system go-live and post-implementation. Your ability to provide expert guidance, optimize financial processes, and mentor junior team members will be crucial to success.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
1. Analyse business requirements (e.g., functional and technical requirements, information needs, business processes) through conducting information-gathering sessions with clients, analysing the information and being able to document an accurate understanding of their business requirements and mapping of those to SAP business processes.
2. Provide estimates, impact analysis, feasibility assessments for SAP based solutions for customer requirements. Confidence and ability to make recommendations for the selection of appropriate SAP business processes to meet client requirements effectively.
3. Develop process models based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components. Designing SAP enabled solutions and functional specifications.
4. Functionality Testing: Knowledge of and ability to use testing methodologies, processes and tools for testing of functionality, including unit, integration, system, regression and dry run testing.
5. Design and develop test plans (e.g., test objectives, test cases, test data, test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system or acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets the business requirements.
6. Coordinate execution of project tasks in your functional area and be comfortable in working under the pressure of tight project deadlines.
7. Working closely with the Organisational Change Management (OCM) team and supporting the preparation and execution of training of SAP users.
8. Plan and carry out cut-over activities and go live support.
9. Lead functional teams.
10. Lead workshops to understand business processes with the ability to articulate best/standard practice.
11. Support for users after go-live of the system in hyper car environment.
12. Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise in SAP implementation methodologies, tools, and techniques.
YOUR PROFILE
1. In-depth knowledge of finance principles and business processes, coupled with the ability to map business requirements to SAP FICO functionalities.
2. Ensuring the correct adaptation and optimisation of financial and cost control processes.
3. Providing support and technical consultancy for the accounting, treasury, cost control and financial planning areas, aligning solutions with best market practices.
4. Diagnosing financial processes and identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
5. Configuring SAP FICO to respond to changes in regulatory and commercial requirements, ensuring compliance with corporate and legal policies.
6. Experienced in leading functional teams and delivering innovate solutions.
7. Strong knowledge of FICO processes, including AR (Accounts Receivable), AP (Accounts Payable), GL (General Ledger), AA (Asset Accounting), BA (Bank Accounting), integration and tax processes.
8. Previous experience in SAP Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), SAP Treasury and Cash Management (TRM) and Financial Consolidation/Reporting will be a plus.
9. Excellent configuration experience within SAP FICO modules.
10. In depth Finance integration knowledge with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP).
11. Strong background of Solution Design and Implementation.
12. Experience of S/4HANA Finance preferred.
13. Very good communication skills, good problem solving and analytical skills.
14. Ideally, experience of at least 3 full lifecycle projects, and at least 5 years FICO experience.
15. Expert knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
16. Experience with both waterfall and Agile implementation methodologies.
17. Experience working with offshore teams.
18. Willingness to travel across Europe as required by the role.

1. Experience on migrating SAP ECC to S/4HANA.
2. Knowledge of interfaces and IDocs.
3. Business experience.
4. SAP S/4HANA Certification.
