Join our fabulous team at Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa as a Kitchen Porter.
Reporting to the Executive Head Chef, the Kitchen Porter assists in providing the highest of food hygiene in a customer-focused environment.

Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa is a luxury estate, nestled in 21 acres of lush green Meath countryside. The Georgian mansion which welcomes visitors today was originally built in 1764, on the same site as the original castle. Dunboyne Castle was acquired by Mr. Thomas Röggla in December 2022. The hotel joined his collection of luxury Irish hotels forming the TMR Hotel Collection, including Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort, Harvey’s Point, Mount Wolseley & Aghadoe Heights.

Role & Responsibilities
All our team pride themselves in offering exceptional guest service to ensure we always go above our service standards. Your role with us will include:
1. Using an industrial dishwasher to clean restaurant crockery and cutlery
2. Lifting and carrying loads
3. Cleaning cooking equipment & utensils
4. Cleaning inside of walk-in fridges
5. Cleaning walls and benches in the kitchen
6. Maintaining a clean environment in the kitchen
7. Emptying bins
8. Be available for late-night shifts
9. Have a minimum availability of 30 hours per week for up to 5 shifts across 7 days
Requirements
About The Role
1. Prior experience working in a large kitchen is a bonus
2. Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
3. Strong ability to work efficiently and deal with busy periods competently
4. Self-Motivated and Enthusiastic
5. Excellent Interpersonal Skills
6. Must be available to work a mixture of weekday and weekend shifts
