Job Description
Planning and scheduling jobs and improvising existing planning tools. Ensure product quality and Service Agreement.
Communicating with the Supply chain and commercial team to ensure adequate production resources based on the forecast and order intake.
Building production process and preparing comprehensible SOP/one point lessons (OPL) for shop floor operators.
Facilitates service metrics improvement & conduct cause analysis for flexibility & reliability failure.
Responsible to drive process improvement to achieve Benchmark performance
Detail time study of critical production processes and remove non-value-added tasks by value stream mapping. Standardize improvement initiatives to ensure sustainability.
Conduct Root cause analysis of recurring problems, production bottlenecks, and potential waste, Complain using ELS tools.
Generate innovative action plans to address root causes of production related problems.
Brainstorm ideas, roll out action plans and monitor the overall improvement.
Drive projects regarding automation, new machine installation and new product deployment.
Coordinating with cross-functional/ cross-regional teams for the smooth launching of new products and managing transitions.
Create project timeline, identify potential risks/showstoppers and flag off concern to the local/global leadership team.
Report out to the leadership team about production KPIs and ongoing project progress by high-level presentation.
Maintain product line Production, safety, quality and all service & OPS metrics. Ensure all health and safety requirements are followed within the department and provide required awareness to the department members.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline within the department.
Active involvement in other cross functional activities within the organization.
Lead the departmental team in absence of departmental production manager
Qualifications
Qualifications
B.Sc. Engineering in Industrial & production engineering or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 7 years of experience in relevant field
Very good leadership skills, Interpersonal skills and communication skills are required
Sound understanding of production process and ELS
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and target oriented
