Role and Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
1. Work closely with and report to Project Manager and Senior Management on Civils projects.
2. Take responsibility for managing day to day activities on-site throughout the project lifecycle, leading the Project Team to ensure the successful delivery of the project on time and within budget.
3. Check and understand all drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner.
4. Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials and recording of same on the Bretland document control system.
5. Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and good building practice.
6. Assist with management of all aspects of Health & Safety and Quality on site, ensuring compliance with the Company’s Quality and Safety Management Systems including management of subcontractors and plant Operators’ tickets, safe passes, and machinery certs.
7. Management of subcontractors on site.
8. Responsible for completion and issuing of daily/weekly project reports regarding progress updates on programme and subcontractors.
9. Liaise with Client/Design Teams as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
1. 10 years relevant experience and a proven track record for delivering logistically challenging Civils projects.
2. Full Irish Driving Licence.
3. Safe Pass & Manual handling; other certifications beneficial.
4. Additional Training such as SLG, LUGS, MSIC, etc.
5. Experience in Traffic & Pedestrian Management but not essential.
6. Good IT skills and computer literacy, proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
7. Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment.
8. Ability to coordinate a number of varied projects.
9. Preferably based in the North Leinster / Midlands region.
