Job Title: Project Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Cookstown. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, designing, and executing of projects, ensuring they are completed on time.
The Project Engineer will provide clear communication between clients and internal teams to maintain project flow and achieve client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage multiple projects with a proactive, client-focused approach.
* Ensure Detailers issue approval drawings to meet client expectations and delivery schedules.
* Coordinate with the production manager for timely delivery of production drawings.
* Issue construction drawings and installation guides before site delivery.
* Collaborate with Detailers to ensure drawing accuracy and minimize NCRs.
* Maintain records necessary for successful project management.
* Produce Operation and Maintenance Manuals as per client requests.
* Monitor and adjust product delivery dates to align with client schedules.
* Manage brick requirements to avoid delays or discrepancies.
* Conduct regular client meetings to review progress and address challenges.
* Communicate cost-related variations to clients, ensuring they are quoted and claimed.
* Update the project database daily for accurate production planning forecasts.
* Control and monitor carriage charges, recovering unforeseen costs.
* Create reports and presentations detailing project variations.
* Manage projects to prevent customer claims for on-site delays.
Requirements:
* Technical background gained within construction, engineering or manufacturing capacity.
* Proven Project management experience
* Strong communication and customer service abilities.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Commercial awareness.
* Proficient in administration and IT skills.
* Strong influencing skills to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Effective presentation skills.
