Sales Representative / Business Development Role
Location: Dublin / Leinster (hybrid working)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to promote our company's core business of providing semi-skilled and skilled labor and tradespeople to clients in the construction industry in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new relationships with existing and potential new clients, while also enriching their team members' knowledge base with sales information collected from the field.
Responsibilities:
1. Promote and develop our company's core business by visiting construction sites and maintaining relationships with existing and potential new clients in Leinster.
2. Establish a daily schedule for site visits to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time.
3. Contact clients via phone when site visits are not feasible due to location constraints.
4. Support our company's common goals by working collaboratively with team members and delivering on commitments made to clients.
5. Stay up-to-date with sales information collected from the field and share this knowledge with team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
6. Work effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and quick turnaround times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience in the construction industry or related field.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry, including construction companies and large projects.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team player with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
