Title: Commercial Sales Executive
Reports to: Commercial Director
Location: Cork/Hybrid
Mandatory Requirements: Full Drivers Licence & Mechanical Engineering Degree
Overview
The successful candidate will support customers in transitioning their businesses to a lower-carbon future. They will use technical sales expertise to identify potential customers, prepare sales material, contact them, make them aware of product benefits, and contract them for supply.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse and assess Energy Legislation, Regulations, and Policy with regards to commercial impacts on the company and their customers.
* Assess and identify segments and customers who most benefit from our products or services.
* Develop long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Provide clients with information regarding products or services best satisfying their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
* Identify, assess, and recommend actions regarding new technology and developments within the energy system.
* Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
* Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts.
* Provide pre-sales assistance and product education.
* Work on after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required.
* Analyse costs and sales.
* Make external presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs.
* Liaise and work with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
* Understand the workings and commercial impact of the Biofuel Obligation Scheme.
* Hold a full driving licence as travelling is required.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Mechanical Engineering Degree.
* Sales/Marketing experience.
* Technical Aptitude.
* Experience in energy sales (a benefit).
* Strong Communication skills.
* The ability to build relationships quickly and effectively.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Independence and self-reliance.
