JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Cleaning Operative
Reports to: Cleaning Manager
Location: Cherrywood
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
The successful candidate will be able to perform the following:
* Vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, wiping surface areas and ensuring all areas are neat and tidy, including toilets/showers.
* Performing general sweeping, scrubbing and mopping.
* Disposing of rubbish from bins and containers.
* Ability to undertake tasks as instructed by Area Supervisor.
* Complying with Health and Safety requirements both on client site and company premises.
* Exercising due care and attention when handling client property.
* Setting up stocks and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies.
* Ability to frequently kneel, squat and stoop with repetitive motions.
* Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done.
* Replenishing cups and glasses at the water stations around the office during the day.
* Using dishwashers to process dirty cups and water glasses during the day.
* Checking on all washrooms throughout the day to empty bins, replenish stocks as required and ensuring washrooms are kept clean.
* Assisting with the flow management of people during the lunch break period.
* Helping to clear down tables after meals and returning plates to the kitchen area for processing.
* Assisting the receptionist with various tasks as assigned during the day.
* Ensuring meeting rooms are clear and reset after use, using the diary system to plan effectively between meetings.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
· Required Language Skills: Speak, understand and have the ability to write English.
· Previous cleaning experience is an advantage, however not essential.
· Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential.
· Comfortable working alone and as part of a team as required for the role.
· Responsible and reliable.
· Able to complete tasks on time.
