Site Manager (Residential)
North Kildare
This role involves overseeing the construction of high-end residential developments in the Leinster area, with a focus on delivering quality, A-rated housing and apartment blocks nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure Health and Safety protocols are implemented and maintained on site.
* Control and maintain plant and equipment to ensure it is always fit for purpose and properly certified.
* Promote a safety culture on site and actively encourage all stakeholders to take responsibility.
* Select and appoint supervisors for specific project roles, such as Appointed Person, Crane supervisor, Scaffold Inspector, Temporary Works Co-Ordinator etc.
* Communicate the Project Execution Plan and any changes to all stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.
* Manage subcontractors and suppliers, advising Quantity Surveyors on tender packs and understanding scope of contracted works.
* Review design documents and participate in design team meetings to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and applicable standards.
* Lead the Construction Team, delegate responsibilities and coordinate works to ensure timely completion.
* Report weekly progress against the target programme and ensure all works are executed in accordance with quality assurance systems.
* Cordinate with Service Providers, third party stakeholders, residents and Local Authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
* Demonstrate excellent knowledge of trades and construction detailing, chairing site and construction team meetings as required.
