Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately. In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services. Senior Occupational TherapistFull Time (35hrs) PermanentApplications are invited from Occupational Therapists with experience working in mental health services. They will work as a member of the occupational therapy department and will be initially assigned to the Crisis Response Service Team and one of the Community Mental Health Teams. They will receive supervision and support from the Occupational Therapy Manager and other colleagues in the department. The successful candidate will provide a quality Occupational Therapy service reflective of CORU professional standards and ethics. They will engage in considered, client centered assessment specific to adults affected by mental health challenges to determine the service user's needs and ensure these define individual and group intervention plans. They will have strong case formulation skills and provide comprehensive written reports based on assessment findings. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above. Candidates must be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU. Candidates will require (1) clinical experience working with adults with mental health challenges; and (2) knowledge of the Individual Placement and Support Model.
