Galway Simon Community Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead Galway Simon Community, a leading provider of homeless and homelessness prevention services in the West of Ireland.
About Us
Established in 1979, Galway Simon Community has grown to become a prominent organisation in the region, with a strong foundation of support from the wider community.
The Role
We are looking for a talented individual to oversee our strategic direction and operational management, driving excellence in service delivery while ensuring robust governance and transparency.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with the voluntary Board of Directors to develop and implement strategic plans
* Lead a multi-disciplinary team of 170 staff members
* Oversee an annual budget of approximately €10 million
* Support and participate in national policy development, advocacy, and fundraising efforts through the Simon Communities of Ireland
Requirements
Suitably qualified candidates will have:
* A proven track record of leadership in a similar-sized organisation
* Experience in a not-for-profit, health, or social care environment is beneficial but not essential
* Strong leadership, strategic vision, organisational awareness, financial acumen, and communication skills
