Role Overview:
The Head of F&B Marketing will lead the strategic and operational marketing efforts for our Food & Beverage division. With a deep understanding of brand positioning, consumer trends, and marketing strategies, this individual will craft and execute impactful campaigns to drive brand growth, revenue, and guest loyalty.
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic marketing leader with at least 8 years of experience in F&B marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry. This candidate will be responsible for the marketing of 20+ Irish Restaurants within our group.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the F&B division aligned with the company’s overall goals. Oversee the development and implementation of innovative campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive footfall, and enhance revenue streams. Act as the brand guardian for all F&B outlets, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and guest experience.
2. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including general managers, food & beverage managers, operations, culinary, and design to ensure cohesive messaging and initiatives. Align marketing initiatives with operational goals. Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the marketing team, encouraging new ideas and approaches.
3. Digital, Social Media & PR: Manage all digital marketing initiatives for the F&B division, including website content, social media, SEO, and paid campaigns. Oversee social media strategies and ensure alignment with brand voice and goals. Handle public relations efforts and manage external agencies to maximize media coverage and brand exposure. Utilize data analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
4. Market Analysis & Insights: Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to refine strategies and stay ahead of industry trends. Create detailed reports to monitor marketing performance and provide actionable insights.
5. Event Promotion & Programme Activations: Drive the promotion of events, special menus, and seasonal campaigns to boost engagement and revenue. Lead the activation of marketing programs across all properties, ensuring consistency and excellence.
6. Communication with Stakeholders: Communicate effectively with Hotel GMs and the Group Head of F&B to ensure alignment and shared success. Collaborate closely with the C-suite to provide strategic updates and align on organizational priorities. Develop clear communication plans to track progress and celebrate shared achievements.
7. Marketing Calendars & Budget Management: Develop and manage comprehensive marketing calendars for all F&B outlets. Manage the F&B marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Implement cost-effective marketing strategies to achieve maximum impact within budget constraints.
8. Travel & Market Knowledge: Be willing to travel to various properties to ensure consistent implementation of marketing strategies. Maintain extensive knowledge of the Irish F&B market, the Global trend market in F and B, consumer trends, and competitive landscape.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Minimum 8 years of marketing experience, with a significant focus on Food & Beverage, hospitality, or lifestyle brands.
2. Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns particularly in Food and Beverage.
3. Strong leadership and project management skills.
4. Deep understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation.
5. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and transform insights into actionable strategies.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
7. Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
