Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Company: A well-established and successful building contractors in the North West.
We are actively recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing high-volume invoices
* Statement reconciliation
* Management of subcontractor invoices and payments
* Query resolution
* Preparing invoices for payment
* Assisting with month-end close
* Taking management of the payroll function for 80 employees
Requirements:
* A good working knowledge of the purchase ledger function from processing invoices to month-end close
* Previous payroll experience or willingness to learn
* A working knowledge of computerised accounting software, ideally Xero (training provided)
* Ability to work well in a small team environment
* Full-time availability, 40 hours per week, office-based
