Join PM Group, a world-leading international project delivery firm with over 3,600 employees across Europe, Asia and the US. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be part of a multidiscipline team working on large and small projects in pharmaceutical and data centre spaces.
Responsibilities
* Design electrical systems and services for pharma and mission critical facilities
* Provide technical support to senior electrical engineers
* Implement quality standards
* Check other electrical engineers' work for accuracy and quality, undertaking peer reviews
* Attend and participate in client and PM Group meetings
* Participate in project site visits to monitor, review and sign-off electrical installations
Qualifications
* Third-level degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit advantageous but not essential
* 5+ years of formal experience in heavy industrial engineering design
* Demonstrable experience in complete suite of electrical engineering design services, including MV and LV power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting & emergency lighting, vertical transportation, small power, voice / data, cable containment, fire alarm, security, lightning protection, earthing & bonding, hazardous areas and specialist control systems
* Knowledge of applicable electrical engineering codes, standards and acceptable industry practices
* Ability to undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies where required to provide cost-effective solutions for clients
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Self-starter able to take initiative with assigned tasks and objectives
