Facilities Manager – Soft Services
My client based in South Dublin is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join their client's site. We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to ensure the smooth operation of all Soft Services on our clients' site. The ideal candidate will possess 4+ years in a Facilities Manager/Soft Service Manager position, be highly organized and adaptable with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. This is a fully onsite position, offering convenient onsite parking.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of key support services, ensuring consistent delivery at the Head Office, including cleaning, workplace experience, waste management, security, events, and technical services.
2. Serve as the primary operational contact, resolving inquiries efficiently and maintaining clear communication.
3. Implement and support Health and Safety initiatives in collaboration with the Health and Safety team.
4. Manage relationships with external service providers and monitor contract performance.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to improve service delivery and identify opportunities for efficiency.
6. Implement initiatives to enhance sustainability and operational effectiveness.
7. Provide leadership and support to the on-site team.
8. Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications:
1. 4+ years of experience in a Facilities Manager Position.
2. Ability to work independently.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proven experience in leading and developing teams.
5. Knowledge of health and safety practices.
6. Ability to contribute to and support operational improvement projects.
7. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams and external vendors.
