A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Project and Resource Manager to oversee and optimise workforce planning for high-tech commercial projects.
Reporting to senior leadership, this role involves working closely with project managers, operational directors, HR, and finance teams to ensure efficient resource allocation that aligns with project timelines, budgets, and business priorities.
Key Responsibilities include: Track and update workforce availability using planning tools.
Coordinate with hiring managers to assign staff based on project needs and budget considerations.
Strategically allocate personnel resources, identifying skill gaps and career development opportunities.
Support performance reviews and workforce planning discussions.
Monitor short-term and long-term resourcing needs, tracking staff utilisation and capacity.
Prepare and present workforce planning reports to senior leadership.
Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
About You: Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.

8 years of experience in resource coordination, workforce planning, or project support, preferably in engineering, construction, or consultancy sectors.
Strong organisational and analytical skills, with experience managing resource allocation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with workforce planning tools such as Excel, SAP, or similar systems.
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving.
