Project Engineer
We are seeking experienced Project Engineers to join our teams in Limerick, Cork, and Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for those interested in working on various projects with a 12-month travel option in Denmark.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understand the complete scope of work for Major Service Lines (MSL).
* Lead and manage the MSL team of area engineers who oversee specific construction areas on the project.
* Support area engineers as needed, providing technical assistance to resolve engineering queries in the field.
* Collaborate with the MSL Construction Manager to monitor the construction schedule.
* Prioritize off-site pipe and support fabrication to align with the construction schedule.
* Coordinate between Mechanical and other disciplines onsite.
* Provide weekly progress reports to clients and the MSL Project Manager using the MSL template.
* Gather information from area engineers for weekly variation reporting.
* Monitor the MSL scope of work and potential out-of-scope activities onsite.
* Ensure timely ordering of MSL equipment as required.
* Facilitate coordination between consultants, PSCS, CMT, and contractors onsite.
* Work with the offsite fabrication team to coordinate project activities.
* Attend weekly progress meetings.
* Conduct safety audits and monitor safety performance onsite.
* Collaborate with the MSL QA Lead to ensure piping systems are handed over to clients on schedule.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 7 years of mechanical experience, including at least 2 years in a lead role.
* A relevant engineering degree.
* Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems and products.
* Strong communication and reporting skills.
