Mill Relief Shift Supervisor

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the company for a Mill Relief Shift Supervisor.
The Mill Relief Shift Supervisor will report to the Mill Shift Supervisor and will be required to deputise as the Mill Shift Supervisor in the event of an absence.
When deputising, the Mill Relief Shift Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, supervising and assisting with all aspects of the Processing Plant in order to achieve operational targets relating to Production, Quality, Safety & Costs.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Be a role model and promote best practices relating to environment, health, safety and quality (EHSQ).
2. Leading shift operational team to achieve targets related to EHSQ.
3. Managing shift staffing levels and leave allocation.
4. Liaising with Mill Management, and other relevant Departments, to coordinate the flow of work for shift operators.
5. Creating, reviewing and updating SOPs.
6. Undertaking, and assisting in, the training of shift operators.
7. Be accountable for those aspects of the Concentrator Division as delegated by Mill Management under pertinent policies and procedures.
Experience and Qualifications:
1. 3 years’ service in Tara Mines Mill Production department.
2. Knowledge of all Mill unit processes and related SOPs is required.
3. Knowledge of Mill emergency and safety SOPs is required.
4. Training in industrial safety or supervision is preferred.

Additional Info:
1. This role will be full time, on a 4-cycle 12 hour working shift.
