Overview: We now wish to recruit a Senior Construction Scheduler for a large Pharmaceutical project in West Dublin. The successful candidate will have suitable experience of developing and managing complex project schedules through the construction lifecycle. The successful candidate will require a minimum of 6-10 years’ experience in Project Scheduling of complex projects from design through to construction and commissioning. A third level degree is preferable, in a scientific or engineering field. Construction site experience, with Last Planner methodology is also an advantage. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential along with a good understanding and experience of project co-ordination & management through the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for development and management of detailed schedules to cover the Construction stage of projects.
2. Responsible for development and management of project controls tools.
3. Critical Path development & analysis.
4. Lead / Host Interactive Planning Workshops.
5. Engage and support the project team from early stages.
6. Provides performance updates / reports views for identification of variances and corrective action.
7. Identification of project milestones, monitor & report on same.
8. Liaise with project management team with regular schedule performance status reports.
9. Establish project schedule resource requirements.
10. Develop and Communicate tools for the target completion of project goals.
11. Provide valued input to Constructability Reviews.
12. Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with the Client.
13. Establishing project objectives in line with the client and help to ensure goals & timelines are achieved.
14. Execution of projects via an established Quality Management system.
Qualifications:
1. 6-10 years’ experience.
2. Expert in Primavera P6 software.
3. Experience in scheduling the construction phase of a project.
4. Sound knowledge of design and construction sequence and logic.
5. Pharmaceutical experience required.
6. Experience in using and understanding earned value progress required.
7. Experience in all phases of home office engineering required.
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
9. Degree qualified in Construction, Engineering or other allied third level qualification.
