Position
As an Associate Director of Flood Civil Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in leading our team to develop, implement, and oversee flood control and water management projects. You will bring your expertise to drive the success of our projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our firm. This position can be based in either Ireland or the UK.
Key Accountabilities
1. Working as the lead member (project manager) of a project team to deliver quality services to Clients.
2. Ability to manage a challenging and diverse workload.
3. The successful individual must be able to manage deadlines within a Quality Management System.
4. Management of projects within time, cost and quality constraints and standards.
5. Champions and promotes professional advice, guidance and support across the business.
6. Business development including the preparation of tender submissions and identification of new market opportunities.
7. Represent Ayesa in a professional manner.
8. Awareness of, and full compliance with, the requirements of Ayesa’s Integrated Management System (IMS).
9. Management of projects in compliance with Ayesa’s Integrated Management System (IMS).
Requirements
1. Honours degree qualified in Civil Engineering field (QII Level 8 minimum, Level 9 preferred).
2. 10 years post-graduate experience with at least 8 in the flood risk management/drainage discipline (candidates that demonstrate exceptional ability with less experience may be considered).
3. Proven experience in the delivery of flood relief of other water related services, including client management and contract administration.
4. Knowledge of local legislation codes of proactive, design standards and planning processes is a distinct advantage.
