Dairygold Co-Op Superstores are seeking to hire a Agri Manager based at our new Mallow Co-op Superstores.

Co-Op Superstores is the retail division of Dairygold Co-Operative Society Ltd which now operates 26 retail stores across Munster stretching across counties Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, and Clare. In addition to being Munster's largest supplier of Farm Inputs, our stores offer an extensive range of Building Supplies, Agri Supplies, DIY, Paint, Fuel, Electrical, Household, Garden, Pet & Equine and Workwear.
Dairygold Co-Operative Society Ltd is Ireland's largest farmer-owned co-operative. With headquarters in Mitchelstown, Cork, and operations in other locations in Ireland, Europe and worldwide, Dairygold processes 1.48 billion litres of milk a year, with an annual turnover of 1.65 billion euros. The society is structured across three imperative divisions; food ingredients, Agri business and retail, that drive and support our farmers and business.
About the Opportunity

Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Control and analyse sales performance for Agri sales against budget so that store targets and Key Performance Indicators are met and exceeded.
* As part of the site management team, lead a motivated, engaged & enabled team.
* Deliver on our commitment to excellence in customer experience.
* Support the efficient and cost-effective delivery of service to maximise sales.
* Deliver excellent standards consistently in line with business requirements.
* Ensure compliance with company policies & procedures; legislative requirements and audit standards.
* Assist in business administration as required, including customer account management, managing cash, wage costs, budgets and systems.
* Proactively support the Site Manager to deliver on agreed objectives.
* Promote a safety-first culture, quickly identifying & resolving any safety hazards & observing site safety governance.
* Any other activities as required in order to ensure the successful operation of the store.
The successful candidate will have:
* 2 Years experience in account management.
* Proven track record of Sales generation and Customer relations.
* Proven track record in Agri and Hardware retailing, preferably with previous people management experience.
* Strong Agri product knowledge is a prerequisite for this role, a relevant qualification is beneficial but not essential.
* A proven track record of delivering an excellent customer experience with an understanding of how this drives sales and affects the bottom line.
* A keen understanding of our business with strong commercial awareness / business acumen.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, people management and leadership skills.
* Strong organisational, planning & time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
* Ability to demonstrate initiative with a solutions-oriented approach.
* Self-motivated and prepared to be flexible when the occasion demands.
* Proficient IT skills including MS Office, POS, email etc.
