About the Role:
* Oversee key client engagements and help resolve accounting, auditing, and other issues during the audit process.
* Prepare audit strategy and budgets, and supervise and manage services to clients.
* Drive the delivery of services in a timely and effective way, exceeding client expectations.
* Build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients.
* Develop a personal growth plan/strategy around a portfolio of key clients/new business, and network contacts.
* Schedule audits, identify staff, and assign workloads.
* Supervise, develop, and motivate staff, including coaching and career guidance.
* Identify and lead integration of overseas resources (i.e., delivery centres) to drive efficient execution.
* Actively monitor and manage engagement economics, such that revenue is recognised appropriately throughout the engagement.
* Consult and advise clients on technical accounting, auditing, and internal control matters.
* Stay connected to market trends to think through future innovative solutions.
About You:
* Hold an ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
* Have strong experience leading audits in the Investment Management/Insurance industry.
* Be proficient in working with IFRS, UK, US GAAP or equivalent reporting standards.
* Be able to present client data in a clear and concise format.
* Develop effective client relationships, establishing rapport, trust, and confidence with stakeholders.
* Have project management experience.
* Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Manage and motivate teams with team members at all levels.
* Work in a fast-paced, team environment.
* Work independently on multiple assignments or engagements.
