The candidate will own, sustain, improve and develop new technologies for the site providing mechanical engineering oversight for a multitude of facilities systems covering HVAC, chillers, process cooling water, MTHW, acid exhaust scrubbers, abatement, process chemical and gas delivery systems, CDA and central vacuum etc. The candidate will also support the facilities installation of IC fabrication process equipment in the cleanrooms. General Roles and Responsibilities Role modelling a commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence at a competitive cost. Be the primary owner for Mechanical Systems operation(s). System owner for sustaining and continuous improvement of existing systems. Accountable for system operations, maintenance procedures, and reliability. Develop and review mechanical designs with project team Complete technical submittals, equipment registers and trackers Prepare technical and contract documentation for issue and analysing returned tenders. Project management and supervise construction to comply with drawings, specifications, contracts, schedule, and budget. Liaise with the suppliers/specialist contractor to ensure equipment is successfully commissioned Report to the Project Manager/Facilities director on project progress, risks and issues Prepare reports and front-end studies including capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take offs and tender schedules. Have Strong working knowledge of cleanroom and building standards Develop conservation and cost reduction programs in line with corporate goals Additional Requirements include Maintenance and troubleshooting experience of the following systems and processes: Clean Rooms, Fire suppression systems; HVAC; Building Management Systems (BMS). Water generation and distribution, Compressed air. Experienced with Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously Must be self-motivated, team oriented, and “hands-on” Must be safety and quality orientated Excellent organisational and planning skills Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services with 8-15 years of experience #LI-CC1For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
