Quality Assurance Manager
We are working with a leading bakery in Co. Wexford to recruit a skilled Quality Assurance Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversight of food safety and quality systems, including HACCP, GMP, Pest Control, Plant Hygiene, and Internal Audits.
* Ensuring product quality consistently meets agreed specifications and customer expectations.
* Fostering a quality culture throughout the business.
* Collaboration with site management and team leaders for continuous improvement.
* Providing training on food safety and quality standards.
* Leading and supporting site audits, including third-party, customer, and regulatory audits.
* Management of the hygiene department and external cleaning contractors.
* Implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
* Maintenance of company policies and operational standards.
* Identification of opportunities for cost reductions while maintaining high product quality.
* Compliance with site health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
* A third-level qualification in a relevant field.
* 3-5 years' experience in a Food Safety or Quality Assurance role, preferably in a bakery or food manufacturing environment.
* Strong auditing experience (internal, customer, regulatory, and third-party audits).
* Proven leadership and team management experience.
* Flexibility and strong problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proficiency in using computer systems and software.
