Building Services Project Manager - Ireland

Turner Lovell are recruiting an experienced MEP Package Manager to join an EPC Principal Contractor, on a large construction project based in Cork, Ireland. The client is looking for an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead, coordinate and oversee the Building Services design & installation package (from pre-construction / design, through to installation).
Key duties:
* To successfully deliver the Building Services package, for a large construction project (to time, cost, safety, quality)
* Coordinate design, specifications, and provide subcontractor & client management with the installation of Building Services packages (HVAC, Lighting, LV, hot/cold water systems, telecoms, Security Systems, Fire systems, lifts), ensuring that technical, quality, legislative and performance standards are met
* Help procure and manage subcontractors throughout the entire process, ensuring all documentation is in accordance with expectations (RAMS, CHSP, EMP, TMP, QMP, ERP, temporary works register, ITP's) are in place and approved prior to works commencing
* Work with contracts such as FIDIC/NEC 3/4, and bespoke contracts
* Chair progress meetings with all stakeholders
* Monitor and report on changes to the project (including time, budget, quality) in a change log highlighting any impact to the programme. Provide solutions and implement any mitigation measures.
* Fulfill the role of Design Manager/Coordinator to ensure timely flow of design documentation, in line with the design review process.
* Oversee and supervise the installation of building systems and specify maintenance and operating procedures
Requirements:
* 4 + years Building Services Project Manager experience within Ireland, UK or EU
* Mechanical or Electrical (or equivalent) Degree
* Health and Safety Qualifications e.g. PSCS, NEBOSH, IOSH
* Heavily experienced with HVAC and electrical systems on UK/EU projects
* Willing to be based at site, Monday to Friday.
* Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations and Health & Safety policies
* Proven experience with subcontractor and stakeholder management, commercial/time management and client interfacing
