About the role
ORS is one of the leading fire engineering companies in Ireland. Our fire safety team consists of experienced and dynamic professionals, dedicated to providing the best fire safety service for our clients. We are currently seeking a Fire Engineer to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a passion for fire safety engineering to gain practical experience and contribute to a variety of projects.
About you
As a Fire Engineer, you will play a key role in site visits, assisting senior fire engineers with fire engineering projects, and preparing fire safety and disability access applications for a broad range of projects. You will liaise with clients, design teams, and contractors to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and best practices.
Skills and experience
1. A bachelor’s degree (Level 8) in fire engineering.
2. 1-3 years’ relevant experience.
3. High level verbal and written communication skills.
4. A strong interest in fire safety engineering and a desire to develop a career in this field.
5. A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
6. A strong focus on time and resource management.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
8. A full clean driving license.
