The AML Analyst role is responsible for the monitoring and investigation of suspicious activity including (but not limited to):
1. Investigation of AML suspicious activity alerts
2. PEPs and Sanctions investigations
3. Investigations of high-risk customers as identified from the customer risk assessment
4. Presentation of investigation results and recommended actions
Responsibilities:
1. Use the Bank’s AML systems & technology to monitor for money laundering activity
2. Analyse information and data to identify sanctioned/PEP/high-risk customers
3. Take timely actions when particular events have been identified
4. Present findings from all of the above in a clear auditable manner within department SLAs
5. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards
Requirements:
1. Ordinary Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) with a grade D3/O6/H6 at Ordinary Level in five Leaving Certificate subjects (including English and Maths)
2. Experience in the retail banking sector
3. Excellent problem-solving skills
4. Able to exercise consistent judgement and document findings succinctly
5. Proven communication and influencing skills
6. Good computer literacy in use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Access
7. A strong team player
This is a 9-month Fixed Term Contract position based in Dublin. (Hybrid options available within the Republic of Ireland)
