We are seeking a dynamic senior accountant to join our company based in Mullingar. Initially you will cover the role of our finance manager while they are on maternity leave. As the finance manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial strategy and managing the financial operations of the company. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in steering KASH Beauty’s direction. By implementing efficient controls and processes, you will further enhance our ability to make informed financial decisions and drive sustainable success.
Must have experience:
1. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
2. Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to optimise operational efficiency.
3. Continuously assess, streamline and automate accountancy processes to reduce manual entry and provide low latency insights.
4. Spearhead budgeting, scenario planning and forecasting processes.
5. Collaborate with various departments to support business planning and decision-making processes.
Supply Chain Financial Management:
1. Offer financial insights to optimise the end-to-end supply chain.
2. Analyse the financial repercussions of supply chain inefficiencies.
Regulatory Compliance & Auditing:
1. Ensure adherence to financial regulations specific.
2. Facilitate and manage external auditing processes.
Costing & Margin Analysis:
1. Regularly evaluate costs and product pricing, ensuring competitive margins.
Financial Risk Management:
1. Evaluate and manage financial risks associated with product prices, supply chain disruptions, or currency fluctuations.
2. Implement hedging strategies where necessary.
Additional Experience
1. Evaluate marketing promotions' profitability and ROI.
2. Support sales and marketing teams in developing promotional budgets and forecasts.
3. Offer financial guidance during the NPD process and conduct post-launch reviews.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
1. Engage with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and guidance.
2. Liaise with external investors, stakeholders and suppliers.
3. Lead and mentor finance and accounting direct reports.
4. Develop financial strategies for DTC initiatives, considering logistics, pricing, and customer acquisition costs.
5. Analyse the financial implications of DTC strategies and digital sales channels.
Professional Certification:
A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
Experience:
1. A minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience in accounting and financial management.
2. Proven experience as a finance manager. Experience in a high-growth business is desirable.
3. Software Proficiency.
4. Experience in process streamline & automation.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree: Ideally in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Continued Professional Development: Courses, workshops, or seminars attended that show the candidate’s commitment to staying updated in the ever-evolving world of finance and accounting.
