The opportunity
Our Business Transformation Design team works with clients across a variety of industries to reimagine and redesign the inner workings of their operations, enabling them to deliver on their corporate strategy, achieve cost and performance efficiencies and identify and capture growth opportunities for the future.
We are currently looking to hire into our team at Senior Consultant to Manager level.
Your key responsibilities
Within Business Transformation Design, you'll work as part of a high-performing team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping client organisations solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. On a typical day, you will have the opportunity to:
1. Utilise your skills in the areas of structured problem solving, business analysis, analytics, design thinking and lean process improvement to help our clients drive profitability and performance through their business operations
2. Identifying areas for process improvement across existing ways of working be it system, process or people changes
3. Engage directly with senior client stakeholders to drive business outcomes, including the facilitation of client interviews, workshops and project governance sessions
4. Be able to effectively analyse and define business requirements through stakeholder engagement and reviewing existing processes.

6. Be involved in the delivery of projects across the end-to-end project lifecycle, from business case development to project and execution and close-out
7. Draw on EY’s unique capabilities in Digital, Programme Management, Business Process Analyst, and experience from our global consulting network
8. Helping ensure that the requirements and the process are fit for purpose, supporting the design, build, and test of the changes and business readiness/training activities.
9. Work with a global team of experts to develop unique, innovative and game-changing solutions as well as benefitting from best-in-class operations focused training

13. Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
14. Strong understanding of core business operations gained through involvement/ delivery of projects across areas such as strategy, operating model design, lean process improvement, waterfall and agile design transformation and delivery
15. Exceptional problem-solving ability including logical reasoning, creative thinking and the ability to untangle complex issues
16. Exceptional quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
17. A solid team player who’s also an independent thinker
18. Deadline-driven, highly organised and able to multitask
19. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage more junior consultants
To qualify for the role, you ideally will have
20. 3+ years within a consulting firm or project type environment (a strong record of accomplishment in Management Consulting is a benefit)
21. Strong academic record including a relevant third level degree from top university
22. Strong numeric analysis, presentation and Process Mapping and requirement gathering skills
23. Project and programme delivery experience. Experience in the delivery of large-scale programmes is an advantage.
24. Experience in applying Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
25. Lean six sigma qualification is an advantage
26. PMP/Prince2 qualification is an advantage
27. Agile experience/ certification preferred
28. Experience in applying best practice Business and Process Analysis techniques
