Vickerstock are delighted to be working in partnership with our global FMCG client who are one of the worlds leading companies within their specialist field and are seeking a Site Food Safety & Quality Manager based at their site in Charleville, Co Cork.

Reporting to the overall Site Manager you will be responsible for:
* Maintain Food Safety compliance and work with plant management team to implement programs to mitigate risk.
* Oversee Food Safety, Hygiene and GMP standards on site ensuring the Food Safety HACCP program is robust, effective, and compliant to applicable Global Policies and Procedures, Regulatory Agencies and Accreditation Bodies.
* Management of all Quality System elements.
* Management and oversight of site laboratories and compliance to the required accreditation bodies.
* Maintain and improve quality Objectives and KPIs.
* Manage staffing within the quality function including QC & QA.
* Manage the department budget and utilize resources effectively.
* Working closely with site management and regional teams to lead a culture of continuous improvement across functions including, Operations, Engineering and Quality.
* Management of audit compliance and site readiness while liaising with external agencies in the arrangement, conducting and close out of external audits.
* Provide guidance & validation support for new and ongoing projects throughout the site.
Experience Required:
* Minimum 5 years experience at Management level within Food Safety/Quality/Technical.
* You must come from either Food Manufacturing or Pharmaceutical background.
* Experience in Validation (Facility, Equipment, Utilities, Process and Cleaning).
* Attention to detail coupled with strong technical problem-solving ability.
* Strong people management and interpersonal skills.

Working hours will be Monday - Friday Day Shift/Office Hours. You would be required to work 1 in 7 weekends on a rota basis.
