**Job Title:** Senior Credit Controller/Sales Ledger Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Credit Controller/Sales Ledger Officer to join our commercial business based in Derry/Londonderry. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work closely with the accounts team to ensure the smooth-running of the credit control and sales ledger function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Invoicing and preparing applications for payment
* Bank Reconciliations
* Credit Control - liaising by phone and email with clients ensuring they make payment within agreed terms, maintaining and managing client relationships
* Assisting with VAT returns
* Manage resolution of billing disputes, complaints and discrepancies, responding to escalated complaints within specified timeframes
Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience within a similar role at a Senior level
* Experience managing high volume invoices in an organised and efficient manner
* Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience working within construction sector (desirable)
