10 D Beckett Way, Park West Business Park, Dublin 12 Job Purpose The Assistant Accountant will provide a comprehensive support service to our fast-paced Finance Team and be a key finance liaison with local management in relation to all finance-related accounts preparation, financial analysis and query resolution within the organisation.
They will be responsible for the review of key accounts with the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of accounting and finance aspects.
Part of the role will center on Income Accounting & the related credit control function.
This role requires you to be enthusiastic, willing to learn, have proven skillset in software applications and a good understanding of payments, finance processes and controls.
The role will report to the Assistant Financial Controller based in Dublin and involves a significant amount of interaction with both internal and external third parties.
What we're looking for: * Part Qualified Accountant: o ACA; ACCA; CIMA; or CPA * Min NFQ Level 7 or equivalent Minimum 5 years'* relevant experience (to include analytical and conceptual skills) * Understanding and experience of the Not-for-Profit sector (desirable).
* Requires a conceptual understanding of their specialism typically gained through advanced training and significant practical experience Your Responsibilities * Assisting in monthly performance reports through excel, word etc for Middle & Senior management to track variances and Key Performance Indicators.
* Assisting in the budget preparation process and be a key support for Centre managers for annual Budget to ensure accurate forecasting and expense control.
* Review capital expenditure submissions for the Division to ensure they adhere to policy and are in line with Budget.
* Daily bank postings, Reconciling Bank Accounts.
