* Developing and driving Group payroll strategy: This involves creating and implementing a comprehensive payroll plan that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
* Leading the implementation of regional payroll solutions: The successful candidate will oversee the deployment of payroll systems and processes across different regions, ensuring seamless integration with stakeholders.
* Servicing business operational goals and objectives: This includes anticipating needs, managing risk, and determining creative solutions to implement new technical and process innovations.
* Championing a culture of continuous improvement: The leader will foster an environment where team members feel encouraged to share ideas and contribute to process enhancements.
* Ensuring timely and accurate processing of Group payrolls: The payroll team under this leader's supervision must ensure all payrolls are processed and recorded accurately and on time.
* Leadership and development of payroll team: The successful candidate will lead and mentor a team of six professionals, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements
* Past experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role within a large multinational corporation (MNC), Shared Service Centre (SSC) or Public Limited Company (PLC).
* Academic qualifications: A strong academic track record is essential for this position.
* Leadership skills: Strong leadership and influencing skills are necessary for success in this role.
* Project management: Excellent project management experience is required.
* Communication skills: Effective communication, interpersonal, influencing, and cross-functional teamwork skills are vital.
